Abstract

Transitions was a multinational team research project, undertaken between 2002 and 2005 with funding from the European Commission's Fifth Framework Programme (FP5), and coordinated from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. The research topic concerned the experience of the transition to parenthood and being a working parent in the context of employment trends and different national welfare state regimes.
