In this first video, Dr Tamara Gutfleisch offers an introduction to Factorial Survey Experiments, their key features, their objectives and the research contexts they may be applied. Dr Gutfleisch compares the survey and experiment designs and she explains how the Factorial Survey Experiments combines the advantages of both to create a new method. She then employs three vignette examples from the literature to show the application possibilities of the method and to discuss what type of research questions can be addressed using it.
