Abstract
The National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) and the Survey Resources Network (SRN) organised a joint one day symposium on 3 November 2011 at the British Academy.
The aim of this one day symposium was to bring academic survey methodologists and survey practitioners together in order to consider the current state-of-the-art in the conduct of general population web surveys, what the potential is for moving large-scale survey data collection on to the web in the short to medium term, and what some of the barriers to achieving this are likely to be.
This is the collection of presentations from the event.
