Abstract

Developmental psychology is premised upon the notion of change and yet British developmental psychologists have been reluctant to explore techniques for measuring such phenomenon within statistics, beyond standard procedures based upon the analysis of variance. We are devising techniques to suit repeated measures designs with small samples in which much of the data are binary. The aim is to explore causal relationships that have been postulated among the latent variables which define the outcomes.
